FAQ

Will long text in a cell get cut off?

No, and this is the main reason to use this rather than opening the file in Excel and printing it. A spreadsheet clips anything wider than its column, so a long note or address silently loses its tail on the printed page. Here each cell wraps onto as many lines as it needs and the row simply grows taller, so every character survives.

My CSV uses semicolons, not commas. Will it work?

Yes. The delimiter is detected from the file itself, so comma, semicolon, tab and pipe separated files all work. Semicolons are the default in much of Europe and in Indian regional Excel settings, and tab-separated exports are handed around with a .csv extension constantly — both open correctly.

What happens with a very wide CSV?

Files with more than six columns are laid out on landscape pages, and the font steps down as the column count grows. Each column is sized in proportion to how much text it actually holds, with enough room reserved for its heading so the header never breaks in half.

Does it handle accented characters and other alphabets?

Latin text including accented characters comes through correctly. Scripts outside the Latin range, such as Devanagari or Cyrillic, depend on the fonts available to the renderer and may not display — convert those through Excel to PDF instead.
