Does HTML to PDF conversion preserve CSS styling?
No. Stylesheets and inline styles are not applied. The page is rebuilt from its structure — headings, paragraphs, lists, tables, links and code — in DocsBolt's own clean A4 layout. For a copy that looks exactly like the web page, use your browser's Print › Save as PDF.
Can I convert a full webpage to PDF?
Yes: save the page as an HTML file and upload it. You get its text and structure as a readable document, not its visual design. Images load when their address is a full https:// link or embedded in the file; images with relative paths show as a short placeholder.
Is there a file size limit for HTML to PDF conversion?
Yes, 25 MB per file. HTML files are rarely anywhere near that; what takes time is downloading images the page links to, which is capped so one slow image cannot hold up the document.
What is HTML to PDF conversion actually useful for?
Invoices and receipts generated as HTML, saving a formatted report from a web tool, archiving documentation, and turning email templates into shareable files. Anywhere the source is markup but the deliverable has to be a fixed, printable document.
Do images and links inside the HTML survive conversion?
Links become clickable links in the PDF. Images are placed in the page when their address is a full https:// link or they are embedded in the file; others are replaced by a short placeholder. Scripts and forms are left out — a PDF is static.
