Limitations

Lossy WebP re-encodes an already lossy JPEG; at high quality settings the gain is modest and at low settings artefacts compound. Around quality 80 is the usual sweet spot.
Some older software (and email clients) still cannot open WebP; keep the JPG if the recipient is unknown.

Does every browser support WebP?

Every current major browser does. Very old versions do not, so if your audience includes legacy systems, keep a JPEG fallback alongside the WebP.

How much smaller are WebP files?

Commonly around a quarter to a third smaller than a JPEG of comparable quality, though it varies with the image. Photographs with smooth gradients tend to benefit most.

No. WebP is designed for screens and web delivery. Printers and print shops expect JPEG, TIFF or PDF, so keep a JPEG copy for anything heading to print.
