What ODP to PDF does
An Impress deck sent as .odp will open cleanly only on a computer with LibreOffice installed. Sent as PDF, it opens everywhere — a phone in a meeting, a browser tab, a projector laptop with nothing but a PDF viewer — and cannot be edited on the way. This tool converts the presentation with LibreOffice Impress, so slide masters, backgrounds, embedded fonts, charts and images are reproduced as designed, with one page per slide and hidden slides left out. Animations and transitions do not exist in a PDF, so each slide shows its final state with all elements visible; if a slide builds up through several clicks, consider duplicating it in Impress with the elements added one at a time before converting.

Questions
Are speaker notes included?
No — the PDF contains the slides only, which is what an audience should receive. Export notes separately from Impress if you need them.
Do animations and transitions survive?
No. A PDF is static, so each slide shows its final state with all animated elements visible.
Can I convert a .pptx here?
Use PPT to PDF for PowerPoint files. This page is for the OpenDocument .odp format.
Can I get several slides on one page as a handout?
Not from this tool, which produces one slide per page. Impress can export handouts with 2, 4 or 6 slides per page directly from File → Export as PDF.
Are speaker notes lost?
They are not included in the PDF. Keep the .odp for presenting; send the PDF to the audience.
Is the slide size kept?
Yes. A 16:9 deck becomes 16:9 pages, a 4:3 deck becomes 4:3 pages; nothing is squeezed onto A4.
