What Split PPT does

Break a PowerPoint into separate files. Long decks get split for good reasons: sending one module to one audience, splitting a training deck into per-session files, or separating the sections that are ready to share from those still being worked on.

Limitations

Splitting removes the slides outside your range from a copy of the deck, so each output keeps the full theme and masters — files are larger than the slide count alone would suggest.
Ranges are slide numbers; sections are not recognised.

A split usually produces several .pptx files, so they are bundled into one download.

Do the split decks keep the theme and images?

Yes. Each output is a copy of your original file with the other slides removed, so masters, layouts, pictures, charts and transitions are exactly as they were.

How is the deck divided?

By the slide ranges you specify, so you control exactly where each new file starts and ends.

Does each file keep the original design?

Yes — the theme, master slides and layouts are carried into every output file, so nothing needs restyling.

Is the original deck modified?

No. Splitting produces new files and leaves the document you uploaded exactly as it was.
