What Text to PDF does

Convert a plain text file into a PDF. Logs, exported records, transcripts and notes are often produced as .txt, and .txt is not something you attach to a formal message — it has no page structure, no fixed layout, and looks different depending on the editor that opens it. PDF gives it defined pages and a consistent appearance.

Formats and limits

When you'd use it

• A plain-text licence or notice that must be sent as a document
• Code or log output for an appendix
• Meeting notes to file where a .txt looks unfinished

Limitations

• The PDF uses built-in fonts that cover Latin scripts; text in other scripts is rendered with a different engine and may take a moment longer.
• Long lines are wrapped; there is no way to keep pre-formatted alignment except by choosing the monospaced option.
