What Excel to JPG does

Render a spreadsheet as a JPEG image. Sometimes a table just needs to be visible immediately — pasted into a chat, dropped onto a slide, or attached where a spreadsheet would be opened by nobody. An image displays instantly and cannot be edited by accident.

The picture is generated from the cell values, not from a screenshot of Excel — so column widths are set to fit the content rather than what was on screen.

Limitations

The image shows the sheet as LibreOffice prints it — the used range, split across pages if it is large. A huge sheet becomes several images.
Charts and images on the sheet are included; conditional-format icons and sparklines may not be.

What happens to your file

Processed over an encrypted connection and deleted after one hour.

Questions

How is the image generated?

Data is rendered via PDF first, then converted to JPG.

Can the numbers still be copied?

No. An image is a picture of the table, so nothing in it can be selected. Send the workbook or a PDF if the reader needs the actual values.

What if my sheet is very large?

Big sheets produce a wide image where text becomes small. Trim to the range that matters before converting, or use PDF, which paginates properly.

Will the formatting be preserved?

Yes — cell colours, borders and fonts are rendered as they appear, so the table looks the way you designed it.
