Cookie Policy
DocsBolt sets very little itself. The list below is complete; if something is missing from it, that is a bug — tell us.

1. What we set ourselves
Using the generator or any tool as an anonymous visitor sets no cookie at all. The site keeps two small values in your browser's local storage, and one consent cookie is written by the consent dialog once you have made a choice.

2. Advertising cookies
The site is funded by Google AdSense. Ad units sit below the tools, never inside them. In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland the AdSense script does not set any cookie until you accept in the consent dialog; if you decline, Google may still show non-personalised ads, which do not rely on cookies for personalisation. Elsewhere, AdSense follows Google's default behaviour for your region.

3. Consent
The consent dialog is Google Funding Choices, a consent management platform registered with the IAB Transparency & Consent Framework and certified by Google. It appears on your first visit where consent is required. To change your choice later, clear the site's cookies and reload, or use the "Privacy and cookie settings" link that the dialog leaves in the page footer once it has been shown.
4. Things we do not use
- No analytics cookies (no Google Analytics, no session-recording scripts).
- No social-media pixels.
- No cross-site tracking of our own.
5. Optional third-party services
Two features load a third party only when you use them: Google Sign-In if you sign in, and Microsoft Office Online if you open the preview after generating a document. Each may set its own cookies under its own policy at that moment.
6. Managing cookies in your browser
Every major browser lets you block or delete cookies and site data from its settings. Blocking the local-storage values above only affects staying signed in and the theme choice; the generator and tools work without them.
