What JPG to PDF does

Convert JPEG photos into a PDF document. Phone cameras have quietly replaced flatbed scanners for everyday paperwork, and this is the step that makes the result submittable: identity documents, signed forms, receipts for an expense claim, or handwritten notes that need to reach someone as one tidy file.

Limitations

One image per page, fitted to the page with its aspect ratio kept; images are not re-compressed, so a folder of 5 MB photos gives a large PDF. Compress the PDF afterwards if size matters.
EXIF rotation is honoured, but EXIF metadata (camera, location) is not copied into the PDF.

Can I upload more than one image?

Yes. Multiple images are combined into a single PDF in upload order.

Does this work for scanned documents?

Yes. It is useful for scanned JPG pages and screenshots.

How do I photograph a document so it converts well?

Shoot straight down in even, indirect light, fill the frame with the page, and avoid casting your own shadow across it. Harsh direct light creates glare that no conversion can undo.

Can I combine photos taken at different sizes?

Yes. Each photo becomes its own page sized to fit, so mixing portrait and landscape shots is fine, though a consistent orientation reads better.

Does the PDF weigh more than the photos?

Roughly the same — the images are carried across rather than expanded. If the result is too large to email, compress the photos before converting.

What page size and orientation does each image get?

Each image is placed on a page of its own with the same proportions as the picture, so portrait photos become portrait pages and landscape photos landscape pages; nothing is cropped or stretched.

Is anything uploaded?

No. The PDF is assembled without uploading the photos, which is why this tool works on a slow connection and on documents you would rather not send anywhere.
